Our New York City office has an immediate need for a Paraplanner to support the National Director of Financial Planning in delivering tailored wealth management solutions to clients and advisors.
This role plays a key part in Wedbush's mission to empower advisors and their clients with customized financial strategies that align with their unique goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Assist in creating comprehensive financial plans using MoneyGuidePro and Wealth Studios * Gather, input, and analyze client data to develop tailored recommendations * Perform scenario modeling, stress testing, and asset allocation analysis * Assist in the ongoing maintenance and updates of existing financial plans to ensure they remain aligned with clients' goals and any changes in their circumstances * Prepare and organize client-facing presentation materials * Collaborate with advisors to ensure plans align with client objectives and expectations * Maintain accurate client records and planning documentation * Manage workflows and deadlines to ensure timely plan delivery * Conduct research to support plan recommendations, including insurance, retirement, and estate planning * Assist in onboarding advisors to MoneyGuidePro and Wealth Studios, providing ongoing support as needed * Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned Experience and Skills * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Minimum 2+ years professional experience in the financial industry * Strong Technology skills experience with FinTech platforms, such as model management, performance reporting, financial planning and/or research is a plus * Completion of or progress toward the CFP or other relevant certifications preferred * Knowledge of Envestnet and proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., MoneyGuidePro, Wealth Studios) * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills * Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment * Ability to meet deadlines, effectively manage multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately in a dynamic environment What We Offer As part of our overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities offers an array of diverse benefits to all our colleagues.

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $48,000 to $65,000.
Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
