We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Hardware Technician to join our dynamic team in the technology industry. As a Junior Hardware Technician, to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and peripheral equipment. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with a passion for technology, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in the IT field. You will work closely with senior technicians to ensure the smooth operation of hardware systems and provide technical support to end users. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals (e.g., printers, scanners).

Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, coordinating with senior technicians to resolve complex problems.

Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware systems to ensure optimal performance.

Assist with inventory management of hardware components and spare parts.

Provide basic technical support to end-users, escalating issues as needed.

Document all service activities, including repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with the IT team to support network and software-related tasks as required.

Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Basic understanding of computer hardware, including CPUs, RAM, motherboards, and peripheral devices.

Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Mac, Linux) and basic networking concepts is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (will require travel to client sites).

CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.
