Job Title: Dispatcher Location: 550 Wolverine Street, Rockford, MI Schedule: Full-Time Schedule may vary based on operational needs Rate of Pay: Based on experience Job Summary: SCA is seeking an experienced and highly organized Dispatcher to manage daily routing, driver coordination, and service execution across our operational network.

In this vital role, you'll ensure that drivers are dispatched efficiently, customers receive timely service, and all field operations run smoothly and safely.

This role requires attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills to support drivers, supervisors, and clients alike.

Key Responsibilities: * Optimize Routes: Plan efficient driver routes to maximize productivity while balancing cost and customer satisfaction * Coordinate Daily Operations: Monitor work orders and assign resources appropriately to meet service commitments * Ensure DOT Compliance: Verify that all drivers meet federal and company safety standards * Troubleshoot in Real-Time: Address driver issues and route disruptions quickly and professionally * Dispatch Communication: Deliver accurate instructions and updates to drivers throughout the shift * Administrative Tasks: Track completed services, maintain service logs, and support billing with accurate documentation * Monitor Conditions: Stay informed of weather and traffic updates to anticipate and prevent potential delays * Team Support: Collaborate with internal teams and perform additional tasks as needed to support company goals Job Requirements: * Minimum of 3 years' experience in dispatch, logistics, customer service, or a related field * Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Experience with routing/scheduling software preferred * High school diploma required; degree in Business or related field is a plus * Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work well under pressure * Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented Benefits of Joining SCA: * Full Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) * Company-Paid Life Insurance * Paid Time Off and Holidays * Voluntary Benefits: Short/long-term disability, accident insurance, critical illness, and more * Career Growth: Opportunities for advancement and professional development
