LA Semiconductor is looking to hire Manufacturing Technicians to support operations at our Pocatello, ID semiconductor fabrication plant! Our products are found in popular high-tech devices, drones, automotive rear-view cameras, gaming systems, medical devices, and even self-driving cars!

Able to wear lightweight hoods, smocks, and boots throughout the majority of your 12-hour shift. These dressing requirements help protect the highly sensitive tech products and microchips you will be working with!

Have a desire to learn and grow in the manufacturing, tech, or semiconductor industries!

Have the drive and capability to be cross-trained (learn more than one job or operation).

Enjoy working together with equipment technicians (mechanics who are charged with maintenance), process technicians (fix any defects in the wafers), engineers, and managers to produce the highest quality product.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operating manufacturing tools to process high-quality products.

Working in a self-directed work team environment to achieve daily goals.

Interfacing with computer systems to perform job duties.

Performing all activities in a safe and responsible manner and supporting all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and programs.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

Must be able to work a 12-hour shift in a clean-room environment

Strong attention to detail

Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and frequently move it over extended distances

Must be able to stand, stoop, and reach for extended periods of time.

Comfortable working with and around chemicals (safety training is provided)

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Ability to multitask

Organizational skills

Ability to prioritize and complete tasks.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Schedule: Our manufacturing site is a 24/7 facility. Our operators work 12-hour shifts.

$17.00/hr. - Day Shift

$19.55/hr. - Night Shift ($17/hr. base wage + 15% Shift differential pay)

Shift A - Day Shift Sunday -Tuesday; Every other Wednesday; 6:45am-7pm

Shift C - Day Shift Thursday-Saturday; Every other Wednesday 6:45 am-7pm

Shift: B - Sunday-Tuesday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am

Shift D - Wednesday-Friday; Every other Saturday 6:45pm-7am
