We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Poughkeepsie, New York. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical support to ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software, and network systems. You will play a key part in diagnosing and resolving technical issues while delivering exceptional service to end-users.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive technical support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, including Apple and Android platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Dell and other computer systems.
• Manage configurations and ensure system compatibility for Windows 10 environments.
• Administer Active Directory for user account management and access control.
• Perform backup and recovery operations to safeguard data integrity.
• Support Cisco and Citrix technologies to maintain network and application stability.
• Collaborate with team members to implement configuration management solutions.
• Deliver timely and detail-oriented assistance to end-users, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures and resolutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies to continuously improve support services.• Proven experience in desktop support or a related technical role.
• Expertise in Android development and Apple device management.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including Dell systems.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Citrix technologies for network and application support.
• Proficiency in Windows 10 and Active Directory administration.
• Hands-on experience with backup and configuration management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication skills to effectively assist end-users and collaborate with team members.
