We are looking for a skilled Credit Analyst to join our team in Stockton, California. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting credit and collections operations across two branch locations. Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing accounts receivable processes, including accurate billing and application of customer payments.
• Review delinquent accounts to ensure all necessary collection actions have been taken.
• Support daily decision-making regarding credit release or holds for customer orders.
• Travel to branch locations or customer sites to foster effective communication and resolve credit-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to company credit policies and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain organized file retention and storage systems for credit documentation.
• Perform general administrative duties to support credit operations and workload management.
• Execute additional tasks or projects as assigned by management to address evolving business needs.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for efficient documentation and communication.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities to make informed credit decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel locally as needed for branch or customer site visits.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems, ERP platforms, and CRM tools.
• Expertise in accounts receivable processes, credit applications, and collection strategies.
• Solid judgment and problem-solving skills to support effective decision-making.
