Job Title:Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer

Reporting To:Leader, Mfg. Engineering Tech.

Work Schedule:Onsite – Buffalo, NY

Our team in Military Aircraft Group is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer with expertise in Mill-Turn Machining to join our high-performance team. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Technical Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

As a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, you will:

Translate Designs into Reality: Create detailed operation sheets and NC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies.

Engineer for Efficiency: Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and enhance manufacturability.

Support the Shop Floor: Be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications.

Contribute to Strategic Planning: Assist in estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development.

To be considered for Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programmer, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

A Bachelor’s degree, or an Associate’s degree with 6+ years, or a High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.

3+ years of Mill-Turn CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software.

Strong knowledge of process engineering from raw material to finished product.

Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation.

Excellent communication and documentation skills to work effectively across departments.

Salary Range Transparency:Buffalo, NY $75,000.00–$115,000.00 Annually
