Position Overview:

Director of Financial Planning & Analysis responsible for leading enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts. This high-impact position provides critical insights to senior leadership, helping shape financial strategy, support growth initiatives, and guide capital-related decision-making. Ideal candidates will have either 4+ years of direct investment banking experience or a blend of investment banking and corporate finance experience, with proven strength in financial modeling and strategic analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Own development and oversight of budgets, forecasts, and multi-year planning processes.

Build detailed models to evaluate profitability, capital planning, and scenario-based decision-making.

Deliver executive-ready reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs to support strategic planning.

Conduct financial analysis tied to pricing, cost optimization, and investment opportunities.

Perform variance analysis and interpret financial trends to surface actionable insights.

Identify risks, growth opportunities, and key business drivers to inform executive decisions.

Support transaction-related work, including financial modeling and evaluation of strategic initiatives.

Drive process improvements related to forecasting, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.

Either 4+ years of experience in investment banking, or a mix of investment banking and corporate finance with advanced modeling capabilities.

Expertise in building and interpreting financial models in Excel.

Strong familiarity with reporting tools and ERP/finance platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Power BI, QuickBooks, or comparable systems).

Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and support leadership in high-stakes decision-making.

Experience supporting corporate strategy, transactions, or M&A initiatives preferred.

Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Salary Range: $185k - $225k
