Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is hiring a Site Controller to lead financial operations and support HR functions at a growing onsite location. Relocation assistance available! Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial statements and explain key variances in the general ledger (GL).
Handle transactional accounting: sales memos, debit memos, month-end and quarter-end close activities.
Perform GL reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with precision.
Solve complex financial issues independently and implement long-term solutions.
Oversee inventory processes including market cost tracking, average cost calculations, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including SOX audits.
Act as a liaison between sales, operations, and finance to improve communication and workflow.

Strong knowledge of financial statements, GL research, and variance analysis.
Experience with transactional accounting and closing activities.
Proficiency in GL reconciliations and inventory accounting.
Problem-solving acumen with the ability to work independently.
Experience in HR administration, including payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations.
Comfortable working in a decentralized environment with remote support.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
CPA or equivalent financial credentials.
Prior experience leading HR initiatives or projects.
