Job Description
Large GC looking for Site Superintendents for new projects in the area.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Maintain and update daily field reports in field reporting software
Ensure accuracy of field documents and reports
Facilitate “Tool Box Talks,” as necessary
Ensure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies, if necessary
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
Other related projects, as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
OSHA 30
Computer proficiency a MUST--experience with Timberline, Raken a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with strict attention to detail
Willingness to travel (daily, and for short/long-term travel assignments)
Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
Ability to process requests quickly and efficiently
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starter
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiarity with construction management software
Strong leadership skills
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline driven
