Landmark Builders is seeking a full-time, highly experienced IT Director in its Winston-Salem, NC office.

Our primary markets include industrial, distribution, office, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, and senior living construction.

Job Summary

The Director of IT will be responsible for developing and executing our technology roadmap, overseeing infrastructure, software systems (such as Procore and Sage), cybersecurity, and user support. This role will partner closely with all teams within the organization to align technology with business objectives, enhance productivity, and ensure system reliability and security.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy, aligned with business goals

Lead and manage IT team members, vendors, and consultants

Oversee implementation, administration, and optimization of core software platforms, including Procore, Sage, CRM Platforms, Microsoft 365, etc.

Manage IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud environments (e.g., hosted servers, cloud migration planning)

Ensure robust cybersecurity measures, data protection, and business continuity plans

Support mobile device management, field connectivity, and remote collaboration tools

Evaluate and deploy construction-specific technology solutions (e.g., field data capture, project analytics, BIM tools)

Lead IT-related training and change management initiatives for staff

Oversee IT budgets, vendor contracts, and software license compliance

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in data governance and security

Collaborate with department leaders to streamline processes and integrate systems

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

Ability to work cross-functionally and influence non-technical stakeholdersQualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

Working knowledge of the construction industry or similar project-based environment strongly preferred

Working knowledge of construction management systems such as Procore, CMiC, Sage, or similar business platforms, etc.

Proven experience leading cloud migrations, cybersecurity programs, and infrastructure modernization

Strong understanding of field technology needs, including mobile apps and jobsite connectivityLandmark Builders is an EEO employer.
