Project Development Electrical Engineer

CCECC Bangladesh Ltd. is a leading infrastructure and engineering company committed to delivering excellence in energy and infrastructure projects across Bangladesh. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the development, quotation, and execution of electrical projects, particularly in the fields of Solar photovoltaics, power transmission and distribution, and other power energy-related projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Development Workflow:: Navigate and manage the complete project lifecycle, from initial concept to execution, ensuring thorough understanding and application of professional terminology and processes. Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and propose innovative solutions for energy-related projects, including photovoltaic and transmission/distribution systems.

2. BOQ and Bidding Documents Preparation and Quotation: Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimations, and tender documents for power-related projects, ensuring compliance with technical and financial requirements.

3. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with Employer of GoB, like BPDB, Petrobangla etc., design teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project execution.

4. Technical Support: Provide technical proposal on system designs, material specifications, and other technical aspects of power and energy projects.

5. Project Execution: Oversee and manage the implementation of power engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with project goals.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields from a reputed institution such as BUET, Dhaka University, or KUET.

Experience:

(1) Proven experience in power project development, particularly in photovoltaic systems and power transmission and distribution projects.

(2) Proficiency in preparing BOQs and managing project implementation.

(3) Familiarity with the project development workflow and professional terminology used in energy and power projects.

Skills:

(1) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

(2) amiliarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations for electrical projects.

(3) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

(4) Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

(5) Strong written English skills for drafting proposals, reports, and presentations.

(6) Proficiency in creating professional presentations using PPT/Keynote tools.

(7) Advanced Excel skills for BOQ preparation and pricing calculations.
