Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that our SaaS Vending Management System meets our rigorous standards for quality, accuracy, and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for learning and understanding the business domain, and then design, develop, and execute test cases to identify issues. This role requires and working collaboratively with other QA engineers, developers and product manages during all phases of the software development lifecycle. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in our product release process, providing final reviews, approvals, and coordination with release engineers.

Responsibilities:

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of the software products.

Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution.

Create and execute thorough regression test suites.

Liaise with internal teams (developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Provide feedback and recommendations on software usability and functionality.

Investigate product inquiries to determine if there are defects in production environment.

Collaborate with the Development team to ensure consistent project execution. Personal Characteristics:

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Qualifications:

BA/BS in Information Systems or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Proven 4+ year of experience as a QA Engineer on web and mobile based applications

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience in unit, functional, integration and performance testing.

Fluent with SQL; able to write queries as needed in order to validate data.

Hands on experience with automated testing tools (i.e. Selenium WebDriver)

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. (Jira a strong plus)

Problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Skills :

Experience testing mobile applications with responsive interfaces. (tablets, Smartphone on iOS and Android)

Familiarity with CI/CD principles and deployment tools (such as Octopus).

Experience with version control systems. (Bitbucket)
