Intro and job overview:

Precisely PlaceIQ is looking for a smart and curious Associate Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming location data into actionable insights to empower internal operations, expand our marketing capabilities and drive client success. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science, product management, sales, and marketing to support various data analysis projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and implement data visualizations (e.g, maps, charts, graphs, etc.) to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Assist senior data analysts with data cleaning and transformations using tools such as Scala, SQL, Python, etc.

Conduct exploratory data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in location data sets.

Create and maintain informative dashboards to support decision-making processes.

Help to QC data products that are developed for our clients.

Partner with Marketing to produce insightful stories to help drive client engagement.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and address business needs. Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Math, Economics, or Computer Science preferred.

1+ years of experience in data analyzation is a plus.

Proven ability to effectively communicate analyses and insights to clients.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is preferred.

Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.

Working knowledge of Python or similar is a plus.
