Data Architect/Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Data Architect for a contract to hire role with one of our premier Manufacturing and Recycling clients in Duluth, GA.

***Hybrid role***

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement data architecture solutions utilizing Snowflake, Power BI, and ELT / ETL tools.

Perform schematic and dimensional data modeling to optimize data structures and improve efficiency, scalability and reusability.

Create and maintain SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define data strategies, build a scalable and reusable enterprise solution architecture, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture processes.

Knowledgeable with DevOps and Agile methodologies. Requirements:

Proven experience in technical development using Snowflake, Power BI, and ETL tools (ex: 5Tran, DBT).

Strong proficiency in schematic and dimensional data modeling concepts and techniques.

Expertise in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and scripts.

Experience working in a Recycling or Manufacturing industry, P2P, OTC, and Finance environment.

Provide support for spreadsheet functionalities, including development of Macros and Pivot Tables as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and lead effectively with cross-functional teams.
