Cirrus Academy Charter School is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Student Support Coordinator. As a Student Support Coordinator, you will play a critical role in promoting student success and well-being at our school.

The perfect candidate for this role will have a strong background in education and a deep understanding of the challenges that students face in today's fast-paced world. They will also have exceptional communication and organization skills, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student success and well-being

- Identify and assist students who are struggling academically, socially, or emotionally

- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to provide support and resources to students in need

- Conduct individualized assessments to identify students' needs and create personalized support plans

- Connect students and families with external resources and services as needed

- Organize and facilitate workshops and events to improve students' social and emotional skills

- Monitor and track student progress and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders

- Act as a liaison between school and families, advocating for students' needs

- Stay up-to-date with current trends and research in student support and make recommendations for improvement

- Cultivate a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student resilience and success

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Demonstrated experience in student support or similar role

- Knowledge of social and emotional development and best practices for supporting students in this area

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders

- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities

- Passion for helping students succeed and willingness to go above and beyond to support them

Salary: $37.000 to $48,000 yearly
