S/4 Hana Data Analyst

Apply your expertise in data product management, building data, and analytics solutions to drive the next stage of growth. The Information and data services team enables various business functions to use the power of data to understand customers deeply, advise strategy, measure progress toward goals, and uncover new opportunities. This role will drive the data requirements for business initiatives and work with data engineering and data platform teams to build data solutions that provide insights into subscription business. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in partnering with business teams and providing thought leadership and consulting to craft & realize subscription business data solutions and persona-based experiences on big data/cloud data infrastructure. Candidates must have deep technical & communication skills, a passion for delivering compelling customer experience, curiosity, and a desire to grow data technical skills. This is not an "order taker" role.

What you’ll do:

Document data requirements for various business initiatives to build data and analytics solutions. Ability to lead data and analytics design & delivery on big data/cloud infrastructure for various business needs. A good understanding of subscription business analytics and core KPIs in Commerce Payments, Acquisition, and retention is a huge plus.

Provide strategic and tactical guidance on specific data elements that need to be tracked to enable tracking of metrics and assess user behavior.

Ability to engage with business teams on the data & analytics requirements, strategy, goals, and processes and translate them into functional/system specifications, functional design & user stories documents to work with the data engineering team for building solutions per SDLC processes. The candidate is expected to have clear and concise verbal, written, and presentation skills to be successful in this role.

Collaborate closely with data engineering, program, and data platform teams to build/enhance necessary data solutions, metrics & business insights, and build alerts to monitor those metrics.

Regular interaction with the business to communicate the project portfolio, technology roadmap, and planning on future business objectives. Perform Business Change management of data solutions delivery & Document the best practices for data tracking and maintaining documentation for self-service use.

Adopt data product vision and drive the product roadmap. Ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity while striving to achieve clarity in scope and data requirements. Should be able to define the data product entrance and exit criteria. Responsible for driving the adoption of IDS-delivered data solutions. Ability to work independently and flexibly respond to shifting business needs and priorities.

Ability to participate effectively in global teams. Oversee the work of junior members and contract workforce on the team. Provide training to super-users and leadership with peers.
