About the role:

We're seeking a dynamic Lead Engineer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge web applications. With expertise in Vue.js, Node.js, and AWS, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack and delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop user-facing features using Vue.js, ensuring seamless and intuitive experiences for our clients

Build and maintain robust backend services with Node.js, emphasizing scalability and performance

Design and implement scalable applications on AWS infrastructure, optimizing for speed and reliability

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver new features

Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement

Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in web development, advocating for adoption where appropriate

Lead and manage a team of developers, balancing hands-on development with mentorship and leadership responsibilities

Requirements:

Proven expertise in Vue.js, with a strong portfolio of user-facing projects

Solid background in Node.js development, including building and maintaining backend services

Deep understanding of AWS services and management, with experience deploying and managing applications in the cloud

Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and tools such as GitHub and Jenkins

Experience with test case frameworks and automated testing methodologies, preferably Cucumber

Bonus: Previous experience with financial sector engagements

Location: Hybrid in Plano, TX

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $120,000 - 130,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
