Digital IC Design at ADI:

ADI has long been considered the industry leader in high performance analog/mixed signal semiconductors, and we specialize in bridging the real word to the digital world: what is increasingly referred to by the technical community as 'the edge'. Our Digital Design engineers are responsible for developing digital designs that will meet all specifications, work flawlessly in a product team's system and be optimally manufacturable and testable.

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Systems Modeling Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our product design life cycle by implementing cutting-edge development methodologies. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on system modeling, simulation, and architecture analysis. Your primary responsibility will be to enable pre-silicon software development and early system validation.

System Modeling: Assist in the development of SystemC models for Systems-on-Chip(SoC's) comprisingof subsystems, peripherals, accelerators, and processors to accurately represent the behavior and interactions of complex systems.

Simulation: Support system-level simulation efforts using SystemC simulation tools and methodologies to validate and verify design, ensuring functionality and performance meet requirements.

Architecture Analysis: Aid in the analysis of system architectures to identify potential improvements and optimize system efficiency.

Pre-silicon Software Development: Collaborate with senior software engineers to enable early software development on virtual platforms.

Collaboration: Work closely with team members across various cross-functional teams, including hardware design, software development, and design verification.

Minimum Qualifications:

BS/BE in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Computer Science, or related field2+ years of industry experience

Basic understanding of SystemC modeling and simulation concepts, with willingness to learn and grow in this area

Good understanding of C, C++ concepts

Automation with scripting languages: Python/Perl/Shell etc

Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) is desirable

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Self-motivated team player with the ability to collaborate with team members of varying skillsets

Ability to work effectively as part of a geographically dispersed team
