Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS Professional)

Job Description

Scope of Work:

We areseeking a new Senior Devops Engineer to join Operational and SyntheticMonitoring. The squad provides an in-house synthetic monitoring solution forSwift Services.

JobRequirements:

1.Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (orequivalent experience).

2. Provenexperience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on AWS cloudservices.

3. Strongunderstanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, andCloudFormation.

4.Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation,Terraform, or AWS CDK.

5.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestrationtools like Kubernetes, Fargate, etc.

6.Proficiency in one of the languages: Java or Python.

7.Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and logging tools such asCloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, etc.

8. Hands-onexperience with implementing and managing distributed tracing and metricscollection for enhanced observability.

9. Strongunderstanding of AWS networking concepts, including VPC, Subnets, Route Tables,Security Groups, and NACLs.

10.Experience configuring and managing AWS networking services such as VPCPeering, VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.

11.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

12. AWScertifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified SolutionsArchitect) are a plus.
