Our ODS Senior Dev Ops Engineer role focuses on maintaining and supporting our extensive AWS environment. We seek a candidate with strong AWS, Linux and problem-solving skills and a passion for cutting edge cloud services. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure automation. Experience with compliance is highly desired. AWS certification not required but highly desired. Designs, develops and implements complex information systems to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

Essential Functions:

Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize system requirements and specifications. Works with other IT professionals to ensure system compatibility and integration.

Conducts research on emerging technologies and makes recommendations for adoption.

Creates and maintains technical documentation for system architecture, design, and implementation, including technical specifications and user manuals.

Designs and develops information system architecture that aligns with business objectives.

Ensures system security and data privacy are maintained throughout the architecture. Defines and implements system security and data backup procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

Evaluates current systems and proposes modifications to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Recommends hardware and software technologies to implement the efficiencies and upgrades to the organization's information systems.

Provides technical guidance and support to development teams, other IT staff and end-users throughout the system development life cycle.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant Computer Science field, or equivalent experience, required.

Master's Degree, preferred.

Skills:

Excellent leadership and project management skills.

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, mentoring, and verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of PC desktop applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Experience:

Ten years of experience with IT operations and related technologies, required.

Three years of experience in health care environments, preferred.

Project management experience, preferred.
