***Looking for an Oracle Fusion Financials Engineer thatis local to the Washington, DC metro area

Asan Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials Engineer, the candidate would understand thebusiness requirements, abstract the requirements, and design a configurable,extensible, scalable, performant, robust solution for Oracle Fusion Financials.

Theperson will be responsible for providing technical solutions to implementOracle Cloud Fusion Financials, ensuring the designed solutions are workable bycoding or piloting in key modules, and being agile and innovative to solvebusiness problems. Individuals in this role will work on multiple highlycomplex projects and require technical knowledge of Oracle cloud architectureapproach and have experience of Oracle cloud technology stack. In this role,the candidate will be expected to work on multiple projects and be able tocollaborate in multiple engagements across the product teams.

Positionsin this function would be responsible for delivering professional leveltechnical work in support of the development of applications, configuration ofcomplex workflow rules for routing and approval of Procure-To-Pay transactionsincluding but not limited to General Ledger Journals, Accounts PayableInvoices, Expense Report, Fixed Asset, and Project Costing.

Theperson must have solid understanding of the cross-module capabilities withinthe Oracle ERP Fusion tools, platforms, and services.

Theperson would need to operate within established methodologies, procedures, andguidelines and apply knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technicalproblems. Work is self-directed and not prescribed. Work involves understandingthe customers business challenges and cross-module understanding of ERPcapabilities and producing solutions to solve the problem with enhancedfeatures and process flows while including advanced technology components andworking with system implementors and vendors.

Thecandidate must be experienced in various architecture patterns, haveparticipated in the full Software Development Life Cycle (requirements, Design,Development, Deployment, and Support) and Agile SAFe methodologies, Be Able toCommunicate Solution Requirements and Architecture with Technical andNon-technical Stakeholders. This role also requires outstanding communicationsskills.

Responsibilities:

Be part of a team that works with the development and integration of Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials with respect to application/enterprise capabilities and software for multiple on-going projects, collaborating closely with enterprise and solution architects, aligning to most current strategies.

Responsible for systems analysis, design, development, workflow rules configuration, integration, enhancement, and deployment as well as application support for various applications

Specific responsibilities for workflow include identification of business processes, working with stakeholders in the design and configuration of workflow rules, implementation, test, deployment, and documentation/management of workflow.

Evaluate and optimize existing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.

Identify bottlenecks and streamline workflow processes.

Work on integrating Oracle Fusion Financials workflows with other models and applications as needed.

Hands-on configuration of modules within Oracle ERP Fusion Financials

Manage the deployment of new modules, upgrades, and fixes.

Define, develop, or modify software application modules or enterprise-wide software systems using disciplined development processes.

Implement integration plans and interface with testing teams to incorporate plans into the integration testing process.

Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement information technology that aligns with business needs and meets objectives.

Use holistic knowledge of all products in the information technology ecosystem to plan how new systems will be built and integrated.

Install, maintain, and perform configuration of infrastructure applications.

Review solutions to ensure alignment with customer objectives, organization guidelines/benchmarks and industry best practices.

Provide technical direction and leadership routinely to other engineers; serve as a coach and mentor.

Identify potential problems in design, quality, or operation and initiate corrective action.

Identify opportunities to effectively mitigate risk and improve performance and functionality.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Extensive experience with Oracle Applications particularly Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials and Oracle Integration Cloud, and Cloud Infrastructure/Solutions.

Technical skills in the creation of complex workflow rules for multiple modules within the Oracle Fusion Financials.

Evaluate and optimize existing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial processes.

Identify bottlenecks and streamline workflow processes.

Work on integrating Oracle Fusion Financials workflows with other models and applications as needed.

Hands-on configuration of modules within Oracle ERP Fusion Financials.

Experience in SQL (Oracle or MS SQL).

Experience with Agile software development practices including SAFe, Scrum, JIRA, Peer Review, Git and CI/CD

The position will require technical development skills and have thorough understanding of the development lifecycle, including software design, development, testing, and support of web applications.

Knowledge of discipline engineering principles, practices, and theories, and methods to identify and solve the highest complex problems and perform sophisticated analyses.

Knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end IT process, including architecture, design & engineering, implementation, and operations.

Troubleshooting skills and ability to identify root causes of issues and provide solutions.

Self-motivated and proactive, able to learn quickly and apply new concepts, tools and applications.

Demonstrated ability to solve complex system/integration problems through innovative solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Some experience with private, public and hybrid cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).

Knowledge and/or understanding of Finance or Accounting (desired).

Knowledge of banking/financial industry trends, products, and services(desired).

Technical certifications for Oracle Cloud Applications and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(desired).
