We are seeking a highly motivated Network Support Engineer to join the team in the Boca Raton office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for network and desktop-related issues, with occasional exposure to wireless and unified communications (UC) technologies. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, providing timely and effective solutions to their IT challenges.

Responsibilities

Provide first and second-line technical support for network infrastructure and desktop-related issues.

Perform network troubleshooting, including diagnosing connectivity issues, DNS problems, and firewall configurations.

Assist clients with desktop support tasks, such as software installation, hardware troubleshooting, and system upgrades.

Gain exposure to unified communications technologies, including VoIP systems and video conferencing solutions.

Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of client configurations and network diagrams.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide timely updates on issue resolution progress.

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.

Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools and techniques.

Familiarity with desktop operating systems, including Windows and macOS.

Experience with wireless networking technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, access points) is a plus.

Basic understanding of unified communications technologies, such as VoIP and video conferencing.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are desirable but not required.
