ED, Head of Digital Channels, DBS Globesend

Your mission is to make Globesend become the preferred choice of cross-border payments for individuals and SME globally. As Head of Globesend Digital Channels you will be leading the development and launch of digital platform, products and services that will help us in achieving this mission.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute Globesend digital channel strategies that support the bank's overall business goals and objectives.

Lead cross-functional teams, including technology, design, marketing, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless customer journey, product development and delivery

Collaborate with internal and external partners to gather requirements, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities for innovation.

Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development, testing, and launch.

Ensure adherence to best practices to deliver high-quality products within specified timelines and budgets.

Monitor product performance, analyze user feedback, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement and enhancement.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and design principles to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization on digital product development and strategy.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in digital and payments technology, with a focus on digital product development and management in the global payments industry

Strong knowledge of the payments industry, digital platforms/system, and relevant technologies.

Proven track record of successfully launching digital products and services.

Strong business acumen, strategic thinking capabilities and decision-making skills

Demonstrate experience delivering results in an ambiguous and changing environment, the ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

Expertise in design thinking, user experience (UX) design, and agile development methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ability to function effectively under pressure in environments of rapid change, conflicting demands, and crisis management and possess creative problem-solving skills

The ideal candidate will possess a strong business mindset, coupled with hands-on experience in technology, design, and agile development methodologies. A proven track record of successfully launching digital applications and a background as a Digital Product Head will be highly advantageous.
