Our client, a leading investment firm, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer!

Position Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in our technological operations, driving the seamless deployment and scalability of our sophisticated financial software solutions. Your contributions will be vital for our client to maintain its competitive edge, integrating the latest Azure cloud services, CI/CD methodologies, and a suite of DevOps practices into our operations. Working closely with IT and software development teams, you'll lead efforts to streamline workflows, enhance security measures, and deliver a robust financial platform tailored to the demands of the investment banking landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery, using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and other tools.

Automate deployment, monitoring, and management processes with Python and other scripting languages to boost system reliability and operational efficiency.

Implement and manage containerization and orchestration frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes to enhance application deployment and runtime efficiency.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, and other tools to efficiently manage cloud resources.

Proactively monitor system performance, implement optimizations, and troubleshoot to maintain system integrity and reliability.

Champion infrastructure security and compliance initiatives, adopting best practices to safeguard sensitive data and financial transactions.

Lead and contribute to capacity planning and scalability projects to ensure infrastructure readiness for business growth.

Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating innovative solutions to enhance DevOps functions and processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

4+ years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably in the financial services industry, with a track record of successful project delivery.

Deep expertise in Azure cloud services, CI/CD methodologies (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (Terraform, ARM).

Proficiency in Python for automation tasks, with a strong understanding of scripting and automation in a cloud-based environment.

Solid experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Knowledge of SQL and experience managing databases, including performance tuning and security.
