Position: Temp Electro-Mechanical Assembler - Perfusion Set Manufacturing (2nd shift) Reports to: 1st Shift Supervisor ESSENTIAL TASKS AND DUTIES INCLUDE: * Under general supervision, perform various mechanical, electrical, and/or electro-mechanical * assembly operations using standard manufacturing documentation.
* With keen focus on quality and accuracy, ensure that all work assignments meet corporate * quality and regulatory requirements.
* Alert supervisor when production documentation is unclear or incorrect.
* Maintain individual work area /equipment in a neat orderly manner according to standards, * including proper disposal of packaging waste, proper storage and use of equipment and parts, * and management of documentation needed to perform duties.
* Serve as strong team player, supporting and assisting supervisor and colleagues when necessary.
* Provide training in assembly, repair and inspection methods as required.
* Maintain Kanban Stock locations.
* Initiate Non-Conforming Material (NCMR) when applicable.
* Comply with all work safety rules and regulations.
* Recommend activities to promote continuous improvement and best practices.
* Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as required.
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of 3 years' experience in a high-tech electro-mechanical assembly environment; * previous assembly experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is strongly * preferred.
* Strong hands-on technical skills in both mechanical and electrical assembly processes * Proficiency with all basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and * soldering irons.
* Ability to follow written instructions or procedures such as mechanical assembly drawings and * assembly or test procedures with minimal supervision.
* Must possess a strong work ethic, effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent * interpersonal skills.
* Must be detail oriented and highly organized, flexible, able to work overtime as needed, and * able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical degree plus at least 3 years' experience in a high-tech electro-mechanical assembly environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
