Job Description

Akira Technologies is seeking a highly skilled RPA Developer Expert to join our team for a critical project supporting the United States Army. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robotic process automation (RPA) solutions to automate repetitive tasks and streamline business processes for Army operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national defense while working with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

This role is mostly remote with occasional onsite presence in the DC Metro Area.

Job Responsibilities:

RPA Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, and design RPA solutions using leading RPA platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.

Bot Development: Develop and configure RPA bots to automate repetitive tasks and workflows, including process mapping, workflow design, bot scripting, and integration with existing systems and applications.

Process Automation: Implement end-to-end automation solutions to streamline Army business processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency and accuracy.

Bot Deployment and Management: Deploy RPA bots into production environments, monitor bot performance and execution, and perform maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth and reliable bot operation.

Integration and API Development: Integrate RPA bots with external systems and APIs to enable data exchange and interoperability, and develop custom APIs and connectors as needed to support automation requirements.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and scripts to validate RPA bot functionality, performance, and reliability, and ensure compliance with Army security and quality standards.

Documentation and Training: Document RPA solution design, development, and implementation processes, and provide training and support to end users and stakeholders on RPA best practices and usage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in RPA development, with expertise in designing, developing, and implementing RPA solutions using leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).

Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python, and proficiency in RPA scripting languages (e.g., UiPath Studio, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).

Experience with process analysis, workflow design, and process automation methodologies, and familiarity with business process modeling (BPM) tools and techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and identify automation opportunities.

Active Secret clearance or higher.
