KOMPAN is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to lead, coach, and guide our inside sales representatives team at our U.S. headquarters in Austin, TX.

This position will work closely with our Director of Pre-Sales Operations to build and expand the team, onboard new team members, as well as develop and roll out our inside sales model to more of our direct territories.

For more than 50 years, KOMPAN has researched, designed, and built innovative and imaginative commercial playground equipment and outdoor fitness sites that captivate all ages and abilities.

In collaboration with our global headquarters in Denmark, KOMPAN designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 sites a month across 90 different countries. Our North American headquarters, located in Austin, Texas, supports field sales around the U.S. and Canada.

What You’ll Do

Lead and manage a growing team of inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and ensure a positive customer experience

Coach, train, and develop the inside sales team to improve sales skills and performance for both individuals and overall team goals

Develop sales strategies, processes, and tactics to increase sales and improve customer engagement

Collaborate with other departments to coordinate sales efforts and support broader business objectives

Analyze sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth

Research and develop a deep understanding of industry and market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to increase customer engagement

Implement improvements in the sales administration process

Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts on key account metrics to drive business

Foster an open communication environment for your team, motivating your team members to achieve sales targets

Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new business development representatives

What You’ll Need

College degree in marketing, business administration, or related field

5+ years of experience managing a team of inside sales representatives

Prior experience in training and developing inside sales team members

Excellent leadership skills

Professional communication skills and an ability to motivate a team

Experienced in building, maintaining, and executing processes

Organized, structured, methodical, and accountable

Autonomous, self-propelled, forward-thinking, anticipating, and a problem solver

A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, e.g. a good listener, accommodating, collaborative
