Inside Commercial Estimator / Project Manager
Pay: $70,000 – $100,000 per year

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inside Commercial Estimator / Project Manager to join their team in Waterbury, CT. Position Overview
This role combines estimating and project management responsibilities, supporting commercial HVAC and/or mechanical construction projects from initial bid through completion. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, technically proficient, and capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and strong client communication.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial HVAC/mechanical projects. Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed takeoffs. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and scope clarification. Manage awarded projects including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with field teams. Track project costs, change orders, and job progress to ensure profitability. Serve as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical estimating and/or project management. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
