They are currently seeking a Jr. Automation Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the hardware and software design for automated equipment, with a focus on developing, testing, and debugging PLC and HMI programs.

Focus:

Assist in hardware and software design for automated equipment, including PLC and HMI programming.

Review customer specifications and contribute to hardware design using CAD software.

Investigate and resolve issues related to assembly automation, robotics, and automated equipment.

Test and ensure reliability and safety of automation programs.

Troubleshoot hardware and process issues as required.

Enhance existing software and develop new application software.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to test and optimize various software programs.

Provide guidance and support during customer installations.

Maintain quality and safety standards across all tasks.

Collaborate effectively within a team and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.

Skill Set:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent required.

2+ years of experience in manufacturing, controls engineering, or a related field.

Proficient problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Capability to interpret and edit electrical and mechanical schematics.

Adherence to proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols.

Familiarity with robotics, machining, assembly lines, and conveyors.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.

Experience with CAD software; familiarity with additional tools is advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
