Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for the following:

Maintain and manage data, interface, and reports for Empyrean and Charles Schwab US Benefits system.

Maintain and manage Oracle Fusion reports including Oracle Time and Labor flexiforms reports for audit, absence.

Work with our Project Manager in business request analysis, design solution, development, and implementation.

Implement low risk configuration changes requests in HR systems, e.g. mass data updates, report requests, simple system configuration changes.

Ensures HR system health by constantly monitoring successful system processes and scheduled jobs run.

Assist in impact analysis to HR systems software updates, new feature, feature deprecations, and quarterly upgrades.

Assist QA team in producing technical test scripts.

Assist the integration team in producing solutions for data inbounds and outbounds.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR business processes, capable of resolving issues fast, and convert business requests into system solutions.

Functional understanding of Oracle HCM Cloud systems.

Hands-on experience in creating reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher and OTBI.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex SQL/PLSQL.

Proficiency in Oracle Fusion ETL technologies, i.e., HDL, HCM Extract, and Fast Formula.

Solid experience in requirements gathering, solution design, testing scripts, and configuration/solution documentation.

Strong data analytical skills, attention to detail, and data transformation using SQL, Excel, Power Query, or MS Access.

Effective oral and written communication skills, including stakeholder management. Able to work on a multi cultured global setup workplace.

Knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

Workday HCM

Other HR Systems: Taleo Recruiting, Taleo Learn, Oracle Right Now, Jira

Oracle Fusion HCM Time and Labor, Compensation, Absence, Performance, Goal

Additionally, experience in creating or supporting SOAP/REST web services would be advantageous.
