We are looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer local to Florida or Georgia to lead the refresh and facelift of our consumer-facing trade-in portal. As a part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure associated with interacting with the portal. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of successful UX and UI projects and experience in creating engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly designs for web applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct user research to understand the needs and behaviors of our users.

- Develop user personas and journey maps to guide effective design decisions.

- Design and iterate on UI layouts and user flows to enhance the user experience.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for the trade-in portal.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to implement designs into tech specifications.

- Ensure consistency in the visual elements by following brand guidelines and standards.

- Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, and page flows.

- Adapt the interface for various platforms including desktop, mobile, and tablet.

- Monitor analytics and user feedback to iterate and refine designs.

- Ensure all versions of project UX/UI documents are complete, current, and stored/ archived appropriately.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies that can help improve the design and implementation process.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.

- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.

- Strong portfolio of design projects showcasing innovative design solutions.

- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.

- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.

- Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.

- Proficient in design software (e.g., Figma).

- Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus.

- Problem-solving aptitude and excellent communication skills.

- Analytical mind with a business acumen.

**Preferred Skills:**

- Experience designing e-commerce platforms or digital marketplaces.

- Understanding of front-end development and framework capabilities.

- Familiarity with user research tools and testing methodologies.
