Technical Project Manager

As a Technical Project Manager specializing in web development projects, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of web-based initiatives from initiation to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, quality assurance specialists, and stakeholders, to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules for web development projects.

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Coordinate with team members to assign tasks, track progress, and ensure adherence to project milestones.

Monitor project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.

Technical Leadership:

Provide technical guidance and expertise to project team members, including developers and designers.

Collaborate with technical leads to define architecture, technology stack, and development methodologies for web projects.

Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution to keep projects on track.

Stakeholder Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and senior management.

Facilitate regular communication and collaboration among stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.

Provide updates on project progress, risks, and dependencies through status reports, meetings, and presentations.

Manage stakeholder feedback and incorporate it into project planning and execution as needed.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

Implement quality assurance processes to verify the functionality, performance, and security of web applications.

Coordinate with quality assurance specialists to plan and execute testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.

Review test results and prioritize bug fixes and improvements based on severity and impact on project goals.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in project management and software development practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement tools, methodologies, and best practices to streamline project delivery.

Conduct post-project reviews to assess lessons learned and identify areas for future improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Min 5 years of experience in technical project management, specifically in web development projects. Must have experience of handling Multiple projects at a time (min 4-5 projects)

Strong understanding of web development technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.

Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
