Front End Software Developer

Our technology is responsible for building and maintaining customer facing websites and administrative tools for our members and internal users with the latest tools and frameworks that optimize performance and development efficiency. You plan, develop, test, integrate and bug fix while collaborating with a team of skilled and passionate developers. You have full knowledge and experience with agile development and don’t shy away from a challenge. You are a self-motivated individual who has a diverse background and brings hands-on experience to development who wants to design and code exciting platforms, contribute ideas, and see them come to life. Key Responsibilities

Work with business owners and architects to estimate, plan, test, integrate, and deliver complete software.

Assist in evaluating new functionality requests on a value scale for the business.

Provide design documents and documentation to ensure efficient maintenance.

Interact with key partners and internal users regarding timelines, technical issues, and infrastructure integration.

Ensure work progress to schedule and keep (internal) customers informed of the project’s progress.

Stay current with trends, techniques, technology, and other factors impacting the job.

Actively participate in team meetings and offer recommendations/ideas on design projects.

Develop software that has been tested, integrated and meets both yours and ours high development standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.

Minimum 3 years’ experience estimating timelines at or above 2 months in duration.

Minimum 5 years’ experience with the Microsoft .NET technology stack.

Experience with C#, Entity Framework, MVC Patterns, Automapper, LINQ.

Proficiency in OO Development Methodologies.

Database experience with a structured query language (T-SQL preferred).

Exposure to version control software (GitHub preferred).

Comfortable with front end frameworks and layout (Bootstrap preferred).

Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to other members of the team both technical and non-technical.

Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Excellent teamwork and team building skills.

Superior time management, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet set timelines minimal supervision.

High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.

Our Tech Stacks

Our stacks Microsoft based. Our web-based platforms utilize modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Blazor and React over a Microsoft .NET Core MVC application base. We implement RESTful WebAPIs to interact with our relation database systems (such as SQL Server) using the Entity Framework. Additionally, our custom-built APIs also reach into our CMS (Content Management System) and caching middleware. Other technologies we work with include SOLR, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, MongoDB, Couchbase, Docker, Cloudinary, GraphQL, Ingenico, AJAX, HTML5 and Bootstrap. We use the VS 2019 Pro IDE for development.

We are currently upgrading our older stacks, which involves migrating to latest automated build tools and newest technology available. This offers the opportunity to be involved in assessing preferred technologies and defining an optimal approach to implementation.
