Are you an experienced Inside Salesperson in the beef manufacturing industry? Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a leading food manufacturing company? Look no further! FM Meat Products LP is currently hiring for a Full Time Customer Service & Inside Sales position at our onsite location in Fort McCoy, FL. As a Customer Service & Inside Salesperson, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued customers.

As a Customer Service & Inside Salesperson at FM Meat Products LP, you can expect an exciting and dynamic work environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include handling incoming customer inquiries, providing product information and guidance, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our sales team to meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, so exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

You will utilize your knowledge of beef manufacturing to address customer needs and provide personalized solutions. Your ability to multitask and prioritize will be crucial as you juggle inbound calls, emails, and sales inquiries. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, ensuring you have your weekends free to recharge. However, occasional Saturday shifts may be required based on business needs.

To be successful in the Customer Service & Inside Sales position at FM Meat Products LP, you will need a diverse set of skills and qualifications. A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, or Manufacturing is required, along with a minimum of seven years of relevant operations experience, including at least three years in plant management. Strong knowledge of the food and meat industry, including understanding customer expectations, USDA regulations, OSHA guidelines, and environmental laws, is essential. You should have a proven track record of prioritizing employee safety and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective customer interactions, along with exceptional sales and negotiation abilities. Strong leadership and supervisory skills are necessary for managing a team, while excellent organizational skills and attention to detail will help you stay on top of sales activities and maintain accurate records. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to understand various grades, selections, and cuts of meat are expected. This position may involve some heavy lifting, so physical strength and stamina are beneficial.

Previous experience in inside sales, outbound call centers, or related sales positions is preferred. If you have a strong sales and customer-focused mindset, along with the ability to achieve targets and close deals, we want to hear from you!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Excellent phone and cold calling skills.

Strong listening and sales skills.
