Responsibilities:

The Systems Engineer supports the customer's Security and Operations Group, assisting with the office-level IT operations. Skills and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ability to ascertain the technical operational capability in order to develop requirements for Clandestine Engineering Group to execute

Ability to develop a technology roadmap for operational IT support technology and Cyber Security technology

Ability to provide guidance to implementing organizations

Ability to monitor IT Operations capabilities and provide technology improvement recommendations

Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collecting, compiling, evaluating, and publishing of information and statistical data

Qualifications:

Must possess and able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7

Analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories for various projects

Technology Design – Adapting equipment and technology to serve user needs. Ability to logically and systematically convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints

Ability to analyze and study complex system requirements, for example:Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, cost estimation, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Apply the concept of operations set of disciplines for the planning, analysis, design, and construction of information systems across a major sector of the organization

Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology

Complex Problem Solving – Identifying complex problems reviewing related information to develop and evaluate option and implement solutions.
