We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Philadelphia, PA. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of technical projects, with a focus on website design and development, as well as digital campaigns. Your expertise in project management, technical knowledge, and familiarity with tools such as Jira and GitHub will be essential for success in this role.

What you will do...

Project Planning and Execution:

Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation, for website design and development projects as well as digital campaigns.

Coordinate project activities, ensuring tasks are competed on time and within budget.

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Technical Expertise:

Possess a deep understanding of website design and development processes, technology, and best practices.

Provide technical guidance and support to the team throughout the project lifecycle.

Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and quality assurance processes.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in website design, development, and digital marketing.

Work with development teams/scrum masters to define spring workloads, own product backlog.

Estimation and Scope Management:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.

Prepare accurate project estimates and scopes, considering technical feasibility, resource availability, and timelines.

Effectively communicate project scope, requirements, and changes to the team and stakeholders.

Manage scope creep by implementing change control processes and negotiating project priorities.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster a collaborative work environment, promoting effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Facilitate meetings, including project kick-off, status updates, and retrospectives.

Act as a point of contact for project-related communication, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Ensure timely and clear communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients.

Tool Proficiency:

Utilize project management tools, such as Jira, to track project tasks, issues, and dependencies.

Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaborative software development.

Provide training and guidance to team members on utilizing project management and collaboration tools effectively.

Your Credentials

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.

Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a strong track record of successfully delivering website design and development projects.

Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems.

Knowledge of digital marketing principles and experience with digital campaigns.

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, including Jira and GitHub.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Ability to mange multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.

PMP certification or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
