Python Architect

Position Name- Python Architect

Location-Chennai

Experience Level- 12 to 18 years

Responsibilities:

1. Building efficient server-side applications in python (flask, Django, etc.)

2. Expert in building efficient enterprise grade solutions in Python.

3. Collaborate and POC with external team to align on technical strategies and overall business objectives.

4. Peer code review and coaching/mentoring junior team members.

5. Solve technical challenges by debugging while writing code.

6. Responsible to manage and support loading data into databases.

7. Deploying solutions to test environment and elevating the solution to prod environments.

8. Frequently performing code quality checks and enforce to ensure Industry standards.

9. Prepare technical, architectural documentation.

10. Ability to guide in developing prototypes and proof of concepts.

11. Co-ordinating with Architects, Product Owners/ Business to gather requirements and implementing the solutions.

12. Identify risks and provide possible solutions to mitigate them.

13. Implement software enhancements and suggest improvements.

14. Ability to present to leadership and articulate complex technical scenarios.

15. Taking ownership of multiple projects and deliveries and coordinating with the team to meet the deadlines.

16. Building and contributing to technical roadmap and strategy for the team.

17. Driving continuous improvement in development process and tools to enhance overall efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

1. 12+ Years (15 preferred) of expertise in Software development and 5 to 6 years' experience in python

2. Excellent knowledge and at least 4 years' experience in Algorithmic coding, Design thinking and fundamental Data structures

3. At least 6 years of experience in build enterprise solutions

4. 8+ years in rest web services

5. 8+ years of experience in SQL/NoSQL and solid understanding/exposure to database management

6. 3+ years of experience in GCP or any other cloud platform

7. Ability to quickly produce prototypes and proof of concepts.

8. Ability to present to leadership and articulate complex technical scenarios.

9. Experience and willingness to mentor other engineers and help develop their skills and leadership.

12. Strong understanding of web services

Preferred:

1. Significant experience in JavaScript, Nodejs framework, CICD is a plus.

2. Knowledge around Pandas and NumPy is a plus.
