Foodservice Director Wanted: Contract Foodservice Expertise - Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake, Virginia

Are you an experienced Foodservice Director with a strong background in contract foodservice account relationships? We're seeking a dedicated professional with expertise in managing partnerships with companies like Aramark or Sodexo. Candidates with experience in higher education (higher-ed) settings will also be considered. Responsibilities:

As our Foodservice Director, your duties will include:

Overseeing all aspects of foodservice operations for our contract accounts, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including groups such as Aramark, Sodexo, and higher-ed institutions

Collaborating with internal teams to create innovative menus, promotions, and special events that align with client objectives

Managing budgets, P&L, and financial performance for assigned accounts

Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations

Recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing foodservice team

Requirements:

Our ideal candidate will have:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant and equivalent Foodservice Director role, preferably within contract foodservice or higher-ed settings

Proven success with brands such as Aramark, Sodexo, or similar contract foodservice companies

Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Proximity to Norfolk, Hampton, or Chesapeake areas of Virginia, as the final location will be determined based on the selected candidate
