Unreal Engine Developer Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional software developer with strong Unreal Engine (UE4) programming skills to join us in the development of our UE4 based Digital Twin platform.
Within this role, you will be working with a small team of experienced Software Designers and Developers, working on cutting-edge technologies for use in Architecture, Engineering and Construction. This is an opportunity for a UE4 developer to produce innovative, novel and impactful tools, designed to support the design, build and management of the world around us.
Who we’re looking for
The ideal candidate is a UE4 developer with significant experience developing for a wide range of projects, with strong experience of working on non-gaming applications of UE4, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) workflows and the visualisation of complex file formats such as Building Information Models (BIM). The candidate must be able to adjust to evolving needs and shifting priorities. For the right candidate, this contract can turn into ongoing work as the project develops.
As an Unreal Engine 4 developer you will have the following expertise:
Unreal Engine 4
Blueprint programming
C++
It would be beneficial as a UE4 developer if you have experience working with:
Version Control tools such as GitHub
JSON data
Agile software development practises
Complex 3D models, generated within CAD and BIM tools
CAD workflows within UE4
Project Management tools such as JIRA
Project Length: 3 months
Start Date: Negotiable (as soon as possible)
