Folder Operators – EXPERIENCED Vijuk Folder operators needed - LIVE & WORK in TEXAS!
A printing company's bindery department is looking for experienced folder operators familiar with Vijuk Folding equipment. Candidate selected will be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting a variety of machines and jobs requiring “micro-folds” for pharmaceutical applications.
Responsibilities for this position:
5+ years of experience with Vijuk Folders (mv97s, mv05s and mv11s)
Mechanical knowledge of Vijuk Folders
Experience folding RTAs, Conventional and Ribbon style jobs
Able and willing to work overtime and 2nd shift
Be able to multitask and troubleshoot
Be a team player and work well with others
Be able to perform and deliver results with little to no supervision
Be detail oriented and capable of maintaining high quality work standards
Be able to stand, bend and move for long periods of time
Be punctual, reliable and committed to the company and its core values
Be able and willing to cross train in other equipment if needed
Ability to read and understand packaging tickets as well as being able to follow directions
Accurately enter production data collection and document maintenance
Able to lead and understand the job in all its aspects
Perform line clearances / end of job inspection during production runs
Work directly with management on product quality and process improvement challenges.
This position requires exceptional quality and accountability to company QC standards.
Organization, maintaining clean and orderly folder, tools and work area.
Good attendance required on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Basic computer literacy
Ability to problem solve
Strong communication skills, verbal and written with ability to communicate with employees and management of all levels.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality of work produced.
Well organized and a self-starter
Able to work well within a team environment and communicate with your team members
Dependable, must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Able to work independently, complete assigned tasks meeting deadlines and maintaining quality at all times.
