Our client company is seeking an experienced superintendent to manage all aspects of operations, production units/shipping operations/EH&S compliance/process excellence/associate empowerment and engagement.

You must be willing to:

• Provide safety leadership on the shop floor

• Ensure OSHA PSM standards are practiced

• Lead incident investigations/facilitates corrective actions

• Be Responsible for production schedule attainment/achievement of productivity targets

• Be Responsible for troubleshooting/esolving operational issues

• Maintain physical inventory of raw materials/finished goods

• Monitor process order costs/track & explain adjustments/variances

• Identify/execute process improvement opportunities

Requirements (IF YOU DON’T HAVE THESE, DON’T APPLY)

• BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• Formal training in management/supervision of people

• Green Belt certification a plus

• 5-13+ years supervisory experience in chemical process industry

• Good analytical/team building abilities, organizational/supervisory/motivational skills

• Mechanical aptitude/understand process equipment/excellent troubleshooting skills
