Description:

Logistics company hiring Accident Prevention and Compliance Manager for their facility.

This dynamic role is responsible for the following:

Review, improve, and implement policies and procedures related to safety and quality of working environment.

Ensure proper storage and handling of hazardous materials.

Cooperate with regulatory agencies and stay up-to-date on all laws and requirements.

Communicate vital information and training to colleagues as necessary.

Handle injury investigations to a satisfactory outcome.

Requirements/Attributes:

Ability to devise contingency plans and coordinate emergency response protocols for injuries, falls, material spills, etc.

Knowledge of best practices to avoid accidents and protect personnel.

Familiar with forklifts, commercial trucking, DOT, Tier II reporting.

OSHA and CSP certifications.

Minimum of 3 years in safety management, including experience with union labor.

Computer savvy, resourceful and trustworthy, with excellent problem-solving and management skills.

Able to maintain confidentiality and resolve sensitive issues professionally.
