Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience

Exemplifies and communicates the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

High level of proficiency in computer technology including Word, Excel, and D-Base and other

Comprehensive understanding of business operations, information systems, and accounting administration

3 - 7 years of experience.


Produce timely and useful information to improve operational performance

Produce monthly P&L preliminaries by or before the 6th business day and finalize consolidated financial statements by or before the 10th business day of the following month

Ensure general ledger balances reconciled by the end of the month following close, including payroll liabilities, bank debt, prepaid assets, accounts receivable, and all other balance sheet accounts

Analyze past investments, acquisition opportunities, and other possible investments

Participate in the annual budget process and compile the operating and capital budget

Maintain and improve inventory measurement systems, including accounting for hedged inventories

Provide accounting work papers in conjunction with the external year-end financial audit process

Make recommendations to enhance efficiency and control expenses

Monitor compliance of credit, purchasing, and trading activities as outlined in risk management policy

Complete quarterly objectives and other assignments as required by the Chief Financial Officer


Reports to the Corporate Controller – Accounting and Analysis

Mutually supportive of the Controller – Financial Administration, though cross training initiatives

Internal contacts: managers and team members at all company locations

External contacts: auditors, customers, vendors, and attorneys
