Salesforce Administrator

Responsibilities:

Execute the necessary systems analysis and business requirements analysis to develop and implement plans to optimize the functionality of the Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform within the organization and to integrate the platform with critical on-premises systems (e.g. Billing).

Employ subject matter expertise in the analysis, customization and optimization of the Salesforce platform to plan and execute the additional systems development and optimization necessary to increase operational efficiency, and meet new organization requirements.

Manage new releases of SFDC within the company's systems; implement system changes without user interruption and communicate system changes with the organization prior to implementation.

Propose and implement procedures for managing cloud development on Amazon Cloud by applying knowledge of the Atlassian platform of tools (Jira, Confluence, Crowd, Bamboo), administering BitBucket and implementing account management.

Design workflows to automate common business processes with appropriate workflow actions (email alerts, task updates, & field updates).

Design, and configure a range of Dashboards and Custom Reports for different user profiles to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Advise coding and development staff on the use of Apex, VisualForce Pages, SOSL and SOQL to access the SFDC databases.

Establish and implement security and sharing rules at the object, field and record level for different user profiles located at different levels of the organization.

Provides day-to-day systems support and training to staff regarding SFDC user adoption, system configuration and maintenance, data integrity, and data backup, and creation of custom reports.

Basic Requirements:

Master’s degree in a field of Computer Science or Software Engineering and 3 years experience in the position or in a related Computer Systems Analyst, or Software Developer/Engineer position.

2 years experience providing business requirements analysis to support the development of Salesforce solutions by applying knowledge of the primary Salesforce development tools: Development Workbench and Apex Loader.

2 Years experience administering and optimizing Salesforce operations by applying knowledge of the platform's primary database tools Apex, VisualForce Pages, SOSL and SQSL.

2 years experience analyzing and implementing the integration of critical on-premises systems (e.g. Billing) with the Salesforce platform through optimal use of SOAP and Rest API
