We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst for our growing client at their headquarters in Tampa, FL. This position is a full time (direct hire) opportunity offering benefits and bonus potential in a tenured, team-oriented culture. Currently seeking local (Tampa) candidates for this position.

Duties Include:

Work with business and technical resources to clarify requirements and propose solutions

Document and maintain requirements and specifications throughout the software development cycle

Create and organize “as built” system documentation for multiple integrated platforms

Create visual models, prototypes, or flow diagrams as indicated by project needs

Manage scope change requests and serve as SME for project scope

Follow documented lifecycle processes and work with management to continue to improve organizational maturity

Ability to identify potential risks, impacts and software dependencies

Communicate effectively with users, team members, and training team

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.

5+ years of experience as a business analyst.

Applied knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Experience using JIRA and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) a plus

Great communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with colleagues in a cross functional, team-oriented environment

Exceptional organizational skills and detail orientation

Ability to plan tasks and track progress against an integrated team project plan

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent work-streams

Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, distribution or logistics preferred

Experience with ISO or other regulatory compliance a plus
