Responsibilities include providing updates/enhancements to existing software and to a lesser degree developing new software. Support for our systems requires attention to all phases of our software process; Design & Development, Verification, Documentation, Peer Review, Milestone Reporting and support to the Independent Test Organization. Our software process is subject to a rigid customer defined integration process and the applicant must be able to adhere to the defined process.

The candidate must be able to:

- Interface with and provide support to users and customers

- Analyze and resolve anomalies related to software, system configuration, network interfaces and operating system issues and be able to communicate the issue and recommended solutions and alternatives

- Work independently in a team environment and be able to share ideas and responsibilities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Submission Summary)

1. Degree in STEM or 12 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree

2. Minimum of 4 years of operational trouble shooting experience

3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in software design, development and maintenance

4. A working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX operating systems

5. Experience with X-Midas and XM-Py

6. Ability to lead and participate in medium scale software projects

7. Must have an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

8. Experience in object oriented programming (C++, Java) - Desired Skills

9. Experience in scripting languages such as csh, perl, ksh, bash - Desired Skills

10. Familiarity with software/CM processes and experience in an operations and maintenance environment - Desired Skills

11. SecrityPlus Certification - Desired Skills

12. Ability to act quickly and logically under stressful situations - Desired Skills

13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Desired Skills

14. Experience in administration of relational databases (Oracle and MySQL) - Desired Skills
