The ServiceNow Security Operations Technical Consultant will be responsible for leveraging IT Security Operations, Service Management, and Operations Management to optimize, transform, and ensure IT Organizations are efficient and effective using the ServiceNow platform. This position reports to the SecOps Practice Lead who is seeking candidates who have a:

Deliver end-to-end automated solutions which include technical implementation of the Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence applications on the ServiceNow platform.

Perform requirements work sessions with customer technical and process experts to determine the solution requirements

Apply Agile Scrum practices for customizations to the platform and applications

Provide support and technical consulting and mentoring

Assist customers with understanding the ServiceNow platform, security response processes, and Agile approaches


Minimum of 2+ years of experience with supporting IT systems, including broad knowledge of security, network, applications, and infrastructure.

Experience managing network security tools / appliances such as firewalls, network load balancers, etc.

Experience with Splunk, QRadar, Qualys, or Tanium in an administrative and/or security response capacity

Experience with other SIEM tools, vulnerability, threat management, PCI, HIPPA, SOX, pen testing


Experience managing Windows and/or Linux servers in a systems administrative capacity

Experience with Discovery, Event Management, Business Service Mapping, Orchestration, and Cloud Management on the ServiceNow Platform.

Perform design work sessions and produce deliverables, including mock-ups, flow diagrams, etc.

Experience in an environment with ServiceNow or other with ITSM platforms

ServiceNow Certification

ITIL Certification

Experience dealing with technical end-users in a support role

Experience working directly with end users, customers and/or client
