Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications for the State of Ohio.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.

Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects using SQL Server.

Develop web applications using ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework.

Analyze business requirements and implement technical solutions.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.

Support deployments, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, architects, and developers.

Maintain technical documentation and follow coding standards.

Required Skills

Strong experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.

Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Web Services.

Strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and stored procedures.

Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.

Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.

Experience with Git, debugging, unit testing, and application deployment.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Angular, React, or JavaScript.

Azure services and Azure DevOps.

CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with enterprise or government applications.

Additional Requirements

Must be local to Columbus, Ohio.

Must be available for a 12-month contract.

Must be willing to work onsite or hybrid as required.

Must be available for an in-person interview.
