Position: Senior Java Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ / Irving, TX

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and related technologies.

Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-structured code.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and web services using Jersey and related frameworks.

Participate in application design, technical discussions, and code reviews.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and improve application performance.

Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA engineers, and other development teams.

Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

9–10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.

Strong proficiency in Core Java, object-oriented programming, collections, multithreading, and exception handling.

Excellent coding, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Hands-on experience developing RESTful web services and APIs using Jersey.

Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

Experience with enterprise application development and debugging.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
